The self-proclaimed ‘greatest rapper alive’ recently announced his upcoming project, serving a couple of appetizers with recently released tracks “The Heart Part IV” and “Humble” to whet our collective appetites. “Humble” is accompanied by a captivating visual and has the vibe of a single that will surely overtake radio waves in the coming weeks. Similar to the success of Kendrick’s debut single “Swimming Pools”, “Humble” delivers a commercial sound while effortlessly clearing the high bar of lyrical expectations. “The Heart Part IV” sent fans into a mass frenzy with speculations of diss verses aimed at Big Sean and Drake. Though unconfirmed, the rumors have left fans clamoring for more high-quality lyrical sparring.

A reported album leak revealed a feature lineup that, if true, is going to have EVERYONE and their momma pressing play, day and night. Andre 3000, Kanye West, QTip, D’Angelo, and Anderson Paak are slated to collaborate along with other members from the TDE (Top Dawg Entertainment) camp, such as Flying Lotus, Thundercat and Terrace Martin.

The game’s temperature is at a fever pitch due to the success of Drake’s latest release “More Life”, which is currently breaking records and comfortably sitting atop the Billboard charts at #1 for the second week in a row. With this highly anticipated album release, the stage is set for Compton’s favorite son to dethrone the Canada-born MC during his most successful year to date. Global hip-hop heads are feignin’ to log in to social media and proclaim their favorite rapper’s continued dominance.
